WSJ opinion page from the board paints Comey as vindictive, dismantling his truth teller image casting him as an unemployed bureaucrat only out for revenue at this point.

Is there a somewhat intellectually honest conservative podcast?

At this point I'm at least happy that the trump administration is basically a lame duck already. We just need to get to 2018, take congress, impeach him, removed be Pence, then install the democratic Speaker as president!

By the way the markets don't seem to be having any negative reaction to the Comey testimony and it continues to do very well overall since trumps presidency

I guess you could just watch one of Ben Sasse's 492,000 interviews over the last few weeks

the House literally just passed an anti-regulation bill yesterday designed to gut the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Dodd-Frank. that's why.

That is a reasonably horrible outcome. The US sits still and/or slides back. The GOP forced this with Obama, so stagnation as the new norm is a horrible outcome.

The markets are giddy that the House has taken the first steps in making the Dodd/Frank protections into a pretty shell with nothing inside it. Not just deregulation, but no regulation.

I don't see how you think it is lame duck though, things are still going to get done because of Republican majority for the next 18 months at least.

they'll take away the filibuster.

i don't know how they're claiming reconciliation for half the things they're going to do with healthcare, but they will.

Saw that Pelosi spoke. I know it is her job to perpetuate rhetoric, but it is easy to see why people don't like her. Her matter of factness in putting out talking points come off as something akin to 'your an idiot if you cannot see what I am saying.'

If they somehow get Trump under oath, the first question needs to be about the popular vote.

Here is a wedge that the Dems could you...

'Hey ya'all, did you see Trumps New York Lawyers up there going after an honest man? It reminds me of how he used this approach to threaten and stall small businesses until they would take anything, any loss, to keep from going under. Its the same-same. New York lawyers pushing people around...'

Ezra Klein called Trump's response to this 'weaponizing bullshit'

that sounds about right. and millions of people are willingly letting themselves be showered with it.

If they do, they're fucked and we will have single payer by 2022 #hawttaek

I never was one for the fuck it, blow it up approach some people took to voting against Hillary/not voting at all, but at this point Democrats getting control of both houses of the Congress and the White House back by 2022 seems inevitable. If the GOP gets rid of this last filibuster, the only thing we need to hope for in the next 3ish years is no other vacancies on the Court.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

@noreenahertz
It was always going to be about the youth turnout. And they turned out. 72% yesterday (initial estimates) versus 43% in 2015.
