Wonder how long it'll take him to incriminate himself without being prompted.
jerseyhoya wrote:Don Jr. seems to have confirmed his dad asked Comey politely to drop the Flynn thing, with the excuse that it wasn't anything like an order because you know when DJT is giving an order.
In defense of Don Jr. this was always a much better defense for the WH. 'Yeah, I said if you can, let it go because he's a good man, but that wasn't an order. And it was just because I felt Flynn hadn't done something wrong, and we were unnecessarily entangling a good man. If he had done something wrong that I didn't know about and Comey couldn't let it go, that's fine. I also asked if anyone in my satellite was up to no good that I should hear about it, and want the full justice of the law to apply equally in these cases. I wasn't trying to stifle anything.'
But they denied this request happened, so something's up. This WH chooses the dumbest possible path, at all times, without fail.

That won’t happen if they follow the lead of Labour and adopt far-left policies or get behind people like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the 75-year-old self-proclaimed democratic socialist.
It remains to be seen whether they can get it from Democrats, who have trouble getting past identity politics or growing their appeal beyond minorities and urban elites. Expanding Social Security or vastly increasing health care spending — ideas pitched by Sanders and others — make them look even more fiscally irresponsible

the USA Today is amazing. Republicans aren't into identity politics, at all! And expanding social security? what a losing political idea that one is.
this is the #1 paper in the US.
n Tuesday, Abbott announced that the Texas Legislature will reconvene on July 18 for a special session to address issues including the anti-trans bathroom bill, private school vouchers, and several more anti-abortion measures. Abbott’s abortion-specific agenda includes banning private insurance plans from covering abortion, banning abortion providers and affiliates from receiving government funding, and requiring increased reporting of abortion complications.

Will anything actually come out of this?
