He doesn't have a phone number and we don't know which hotel. I seriously considered calling the cheapest hotel I could find in Norristown and seeing if I could get the receptionist to give me a room #

I mean, I really know it sounds weird but him being ridiculously fucked up and addicted isn't knew. He's 15 minutes away from my mom. He'll get arrested, sober up in jail and have a chance at getting restarted. When that happens, which I kinda know/feel like it will, we'll be there for him, because that's the weird shit you do for family even when they seem to be actively trying to burn bridges.

There's just so much i hate about it. I hate the terms that are used. "Trigger", "violence", "unsafe" are all ridiculous terms to use the way they are being used

It is a cop out because I don't have a solution. Calvin's specificity about the ultra left, whatever that means, is bogus. There's infighting over race issues within nearly every political alignment. The most common issue with pride stuff is that it's white as hell and some people in charge think that's secondary to the mission. That's a pretty common attitude with every niche political mission in America. I'm not saying they're doing a good job with this stuff, I just don't understand why people with relatively little political power are the ones being asked to do the heavy lifting on a centuries-old problem

Nobody is saying they have to solve it. Maybe just don't be a prick about it to a Jewish person. THat's not an unreasonable claim at a march for equality.
