Maybe that's the problem. "Trigger" and "unsafe" aren't PTSD all the time. They're used frequently when someone just doesn't like something. There's nothing there that mentions anyone experienced PTSD

In my experience there are people that are actually experiencing PTSD in a stressful situation, and there are people that use it when it's not. The word doesn't have any real meaning bc it's used to cover a wide gamut of emotions.

I think it's like depression. Many people say they're depressed just when they're feeling sad, and it's a bigger thing than that.

I think i am mostly reacting to thing bc I read it last night, right when my wife got home from her private practice. She specializes in people with LGBQT issues, and her client that night was upset bc he is transitioning to be a man, and his lesbian friends are shunning him bc he's becoming part of the patriarchy. It's just sad to see people being treated like that by the community they fight with.

that's terrible. I almost mentioned the trans exclusionary stuff alongside race relations as one of the biggest issues with pride activism. It's one of those things I think will die out in time but don't know if there's an immediate solution for

After I left they started playing way too loud country rap, after about 20 min they broke out the dabs and switched their musical choice to Pink Floyd, the stones, Grateful Dead and so on. Heady times my friends.

I knew about 4x4's etc. not being the actual stated size however I worked at my Dad's lumber yard for 3 years while I was in high school so I know a lot of fairly useless things about lumber and related products.

I'd liken lumber size not being the stated size just like a quarter pounder is not a quarter pound when you buy it, it's the precooked weight.

It's Indian River inlet in Delaware. Your 500 yds from the beach and right next to the inlet, great fishing in the morning and evening and then spend the day on the beach

Used to go there a couple times a year as a teenager. Pretty awesome spot.

It really is, it's awesome with the family, we get pretty much no cell service and there is no electricity so that means no screen time for the kids or us. Just being outside, unplugging, and meeting the other folks who are around you.

My new fancy horsehead post hose holder shipped in 2 different boxes from Van Nuys at the same time via fedex ground. Both packages went to Sacramento but then diverged courses, with one being delivered on 7/1 and the other on 7/5. Logistics!

Long day, just sat down to play some video games before bed and despite being plugged into the charger both of my controllers batteries are dead.
