So I'm reading this article and I've not been keeping up regarding traditional funeral home and burial procedures but this just seems a little off here.

I know you can rent a coffin for a viewing and service but that is for a cremation. However, I never heard of a funeral where they would just throw you in a hole at the cemetery. Isn't there laws like needing a vault and coffin?

Between Philly, Baltimore and the south they have the craziest people running these types of operations. I mean you go into the funeral business cause either you were born into it or just plain love dealing with dead. You never go into the biz for a quick buck, that's just wrong. The dead really can't say all that much and they might come across as an easy target, but there's an unwritten rule that you just don't fuck with the dead. They will find you. It may not be today or tomorrow or even within your life time, they are revengeful fucks and don't give up.

Very true about the dead being relentless and holding a grudge.

I just caught a fly in the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet. Granted it was a misuse of water, that i do regret right now. The question remains as to whether I sent the fly to its imminent death via a cruel water boarding type of torture or did I send it to nirvana? Around the azrider household there just isn't a whole lot of options as far as dining and entertainment for a fly. However, that sewer line must be filled with some high quality ripe fecal matter. In addition the mating opportunities in my household is limited. There is probably fly orgies going on down there that the world hasn't seen since roman times. I think the fly is in a better place.

they can actually use the pulvilli (little suction-cup like things) on their feet to grab onto the sewer line and eventually make their way back up to the toilet. I wouldn't poop for about a week if I were you.

I think you must be right and thank you for the heads up. I just walked into the bathroom with a fly just sitting on the floor. Normally flies have a tendency to fly away when they feel threatened, specifically by someone with all star fly catching credentials. This fly kept walking almost straying from side to side. My limited knowledge of psychoanalysis pretty much begins and ends with the human species so it is hard to tell whether this fly was intoxicated, just finished its biggest meal of its life, tired from its epic journey back to civilization from the underworld or just it's simply another fly and it is just mentally challenged. Regardless of the story, this may have indeed been a close call and the amazing story of this fly's journey will no longer be told amongst the fly community. Maybe it would've been best to let it deal with the 90+ degree temperature outside.
