It's my dad's birthday this weekend. I bought powerball to stick in the card since it's up over $200 mil. Wrote about how I hope he's super rich the next time I see him in the card. Put the card in the mail. Got back to the office and realized the ticket is still in my pocket.

It's the thought that counts, they say. I certainly wished my parents were super rich too, without doing anything to contribute to it. Kind of led them in the other direction, actually.

Holy shit... a kid was kidnapped in Jackson, MS. The police dept was holding a press conference saying that they found him and he's been shot and murdered. During the press conference the murdered boys parents come in and have no idea that he's been found and that he'd been killed. This is tough to watch
