I had Royal farms chicken for the first time today. It was pretty good. The fries were good too. I would recommend.

I have friends from the D.C. Area that swear by royal farms and Roy rogers for chicken.

My smoke detector is way too sensitive. Lately, every time I cook something on the stove or in the oven the damn alarm goes off despite little or no fumes. I’ve thoroughly cleaned both the oven and the burners on the stove. I’m guessing maybe it senses heat as well, but it really doesn’t get that hot either. Plus, it only started fairly recently, which is odd. Battery is good. I’m gonna have to buy a shower cap to put over the detector while I cook.
