Why is it that press accounts, Democrats such as U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer and poor loser, anti-Trump operatives can say half-truths or outright lies about President Donald Trump or any Republican, and the resulting, very natural response is described as an attack? If someone lies about me, I have every right to defend myself. Responding to a lie or a deliberately misleading statement is not an attack. Of course, when a Republican does that, it becomes an attack. The Democrats have been getting away with lies and half-truths for years thanks to the major media. The Associated Press is the leader in print. A response to Democrats' lies is called a denial, in order to continue casting doubt on the person defamed. Thanks to some weak-kneed legislators, Republicans have not responded enough to liberal lies, worried about what the press will say.
The media will never be happy with Republicans. Pick up a paper or watch national TV and you will get examples of anti-Trump bias every day. There should also be a housecleaning in the leftist, leaking State Department. Thanks to Trump, there will be more pushback. I hope Trump voters understand what is going on.

Thanks for the additional background on this guy, thephan. The letter definitely reads like the rantings of one of the local stooges. I will say this, there very well may be (and probably is) anti-Trump bias in the media everyday - that, however, does not mean that Trump is not a lying POS. And to his "hope", if Trumps voters understood what was going on, we wouldn't be seeing letters like Mr. Gyomber's.

there are a couple of other crazies that are local board members of boroughs and townships that also send in letters like this and they all agree that the reading eagle is LIBERAL and constantly telling lies.

Rep. Chris Collins also argued that CBO’s estimates wouldn’t capture that the Trump administration could implement the law in a way that prevents fewer people from going without insurance. He also noted that the CBO estimates wouldn’t take stock of potential future bills Republicans could pass to ensure that Americans have health care.

The estimates of the coverage don't look into what Tom Price can do as head of HHS or what might happen with other legislation, perhaps with bipartisan support,” Collins said.

Well, the CBO usually tries to deal in facts and actual drafted legislation, so that is pretty unfair if we're living in fantasyland.

Well, CBO better get a contract out to Psychic Readings By Crystal Psychic up on 1219 Wisconsin Ave NW. or maybe The Psychic Shop on 1215 Connecticut Ave NW # 3 is the easiest to drop into.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt said Thursday he does not believe carbon dioxide is a primary contributor to global warming.

"I think that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do and there's tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact, so no, I would not agree that it's a primary contributor to the global warming that we see ," he told CNBC's "Squawk Box."

Scott Pruitt is a PolSci Georgetown grad then got his JD in Tulsa, so I trust his science. That, BTW, is not JH's alumni brethren, but Georgetown College in Kentucky.

Ryan's pivoted to pinning the Rs ACA replacement on Tom Price's pasty ass ("1,400 ways the HHS secretary can take executive action! Yeah, that's the ticket!")

And he's STILL on that "counties" fetish - sooooo weird

the more he talks about health policy, the better you understand one thing - he doesn't know a damn thing about health policy

EDIT: no, I mean really - he has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how insurance works - let alone health insurance

I had a few minutes, but could not take the yammering. He was pinning costs to the crazy stuff in your healthcare bills. Its an easy pitch to people who don't want to think. 2 hours of recovery time was "$1400" for his kid to sit there and watch TV. That sound like something that should be free, but it cost $1400! Now the idea that there is a care team at the ready doing stuff is completely ignored. Unfortunately the 'gee wiz' of health bills to consumers are completely clouded by what is is called VS what it is.

I have had an HSA for about 14 years, and I demand explanations for everything that is cloudy. When I get that visibility, then I decide what I am going to do (pay/contest), but that is me and not everyone wants to live that way. That said, I have become aware that things with goofy names for dullards often have some legitimate reasoning. The other thing I completely understand is that a $1400 charge likely nets out at like 200 or 300 dollars in the bill as my responsibility, before I ask a question (i.e., between 0 - 20% of stated cost is what I pay due to my insurances negotiated pricing - its own bizarre stupidity).

So Spicer had a presser today, right, and no one commented. Have we collectively been eroded to 'Whatever' already? That is how smashed down we are. Of course it is also a Thursday so there are other competing priorities.

No takers on the ultra-pro Washington TIMES running with a failing GOP headline. I am worried about you people.

Funny, you on your pedestal. Where were your comments? Where ARE your comments? You cast your aspersions, when you in fact, are part of the problem!
