Its the fourth week FFS! I guess there were a whole number of greater men who made it through. Sheesh.

As far as our commander-in-chief being a regular Benedict Arnold, I am going to adopt the win-at-all costs-and-to-hell-with-the-good-of-the-country political ethos of our day and hope this does not force Trump into a position where he needs to resign before the next election. I don't see how MY preferred party is benefitted by a Trump resignation, except at the 11th hour of his term. Anyone else (Pence, Ryan), would have a consistent, horrific ideology, and would be nearly certain to be more effective - perhaps devastatingly so.
So by all means, keep it in the news, enough to prevent Trump from actually doing anything for as long as humanly possible.

Unfortunately what he can't get done is only half of it - it's not very reassuring to know what foreign powers are capable of doing to us because of him
I have asked Andy Puzder to withdraw as Secretary of Labor, but he's definitely first in line to be Secretary of Labor Camps.
If it's not explicitly stated in the Constitution, I would assume not. I mean, imagine it comes out he murdered someone on Nov 5th. Dude would be impeached immediately.Squire wrote:I apologize if this has been discussed but in the context of an actual article of impeachment does the "high crime or misdemeanor" have to have been committed while serving in the office of the Presidency?

Would he though?
I'm only half joking here. Say the victim was a Hispanic illegal immigrant. Or a black person with a history of drug convictions. What are the odds that the House would vote in favor of impeachment and not wait it out in either of those scenarios? Can you honestly say that it's better than 50% they'd impeach?
