I'm being serious here. Completely. How long until there are camps? Not death camps, but internment camps.

to be fair, some probably imagined he'd at least consult the Constitution and a few people familiar with our way of governing before he just blundered in and started emitting "orders"

I get it. All those Americans with their flags and their pride who are so ignorant they don't even know we fought a World War to stop this sort of thing.

It's all a self-fulfilling prophecy: Trump's actions will radicalize enough young Muslim Americans to precipitate an attack. Trump will respond by attempting to curtail civil liberties of Muslim Americans and we'll be just the smallest step from the camps.

This is what the new-left/bernie/stein people don't understand. you make changes through tiny incremental steps. There is no other way.

no i think they understand incrementalism but disagree with the concept because whatever progress liberals make in tiny steps when they're in power, conservatives take it back in big chunks. that's why they hate every "neoliberal" and think they're basically the same as republicans

Have we talked about how Steve Bannon named himself to the National Security Council and how that's probably a really bad thing
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

During the campaign in happier days Mike Murphy said during his podcast that Bannon always looked like he'd lost a battle with a bottle of Glenlivet. Made me laugh.
