Being totally serious here, I know you are very passionate about and most times extremely defensive about the Democratic Party. Hopefully you can just take a little constructive criticism and just understand where me as an average American and the majority like me stand and where the Democratic Party has failed.

I hate oversimplifying something like this but most Americans want and believe in the many policies and ideals of left-center political ideology. If the republicans went up against the democrats on just issues it would easily be a 2/3 majority for the democrats. The tactics, the hypocrisy, the leaders and the hijacking of the party by what many consider to radical interests has turned me and many others away. Yes, the Republican Party does and has all of the same elements. However they have to, because they can not win on the issues! Let's say the republicans call the democrats names... Don't respond and get into a fist fight with them. You let it go because not only are they making total asses out of themselves they are losing credibility with the average American public.

Through out my random crazy posts here, there really is method to my madness. I believe the vast majority of Americans are good, smart and fair people and are capable of making good decisions in regard to this country. Unfortunately I don't think we can change the political climate in this country to a point where this heavy fog will ever lift. However, I do want people to at least try to navigate through the fog carefully and not just follow the car in front of you. Sometimes doing that can lead to a huge multi vehicle collision, and that's what we are experiencing now. Sometimes unfortunately you need that for people to realize the dangers out there and try to avoid that again.

Az - I'm not defensive, I'm pragmatic and incremental. I try to push what I think is best for us as a people. That usually means Democrats that can try to govern and make deals that will have more good than bad. 'The system' is there for a reason, for which we are currently seeing why.
