Anyone hazard a guess at the turnout for the march for life? It's getting almost no attention anywhere I typically visit on the internet except Redstate. Oh, and a ex girlfriend mentioned it, but only because she's strongly opposed to it and took the opportunity to reminisce about her days working at a women's health clinic.

I almost never listen to it, but that's apparently the way they lean. They were all over the the idea that the gas tax was actually an underhanded method to allow the state to borrow billions without voter approval and waste YOUR DOLLARS.

Just while I'm venting, was sort of surprised the the lamestream CBS Nightly News, which I only caught becasue it was on KYW radio) led with "Trump signs order to withhold aid to cites harboring illegal aliens". Who could argue with that, right? Of course the sanctuary city designation really ends up doing nothing of the kind. But i'm pretty sure Trump's already won the narrative, plus he gets to complain about losing it, too.

I responded to someone's facebook post who was whining about the inauguration crowd size and how the media was lying and she went off on a rant about the March for Life and how comes it never gets any publicity. I didn't respond because I think abortion is always a losing argument with those people, but I wondered how/why she completely changed topics as if I was attacking her march for life thing that I didn't even know existed.

It's pretty clear that Trump has no idea what an executive order is. I don't think it makes any sense to compare his activity in that regard to that of past Presidents. He's using them more like proposals--they lack the specificity to be actual orders that could be carried out.

Pretty bummed our country's leader made a statement that our priority should be letting in Christian refugees and then signed an order making it so a bunch of Muslims can't come here.

Another one of those stains that we will have to explain one day.

he said all this stuff in the campaign and ran on it. i was told to not take him literally by his own supporters and by his own campaign heads.
