Agree 100%. Most people on here can’t wait to get rid of live home plate umpires in favor of computers. It’s a human game played by humans. Fuck the machines.

everybody was all about Kelly but I was more into Lisa or Stacey Carosi

I would hate robot umpires but think review is good in football where a turnover can seem like a 14 point swing. not sure I can reconcile those opinions

Actually, I could live with robots making the calls. It's the interruption in game flow I object to.

what's the proposed delivery method for the robot umpires? everyone looks at the scoreboard for a red X or a green circle after every pitch?

I don't want robot umpires, but I don't think replays disrupt the flow of the game much. Replay takes like two minutes as opposed to the pointless five minutes of the manager arguing with the umpire.

that's an excellent point. those arguments took up a bunch of time too.
