Been to a few shows recently.

A couple weeks ago in NY, I saw Eugene Mirman, Michael Che, Jon Glaser, Wyatt Cenac and David Cross. Jon Glaser is a fucking genius. I'm still laughing. Wyatt Cenac was terrible. David Cross was David Cross.

I'm in LA now. Last night I went to Comedy Bang Bang. Opened with a few amateurs, the best of which was Baron Vaughn who performs in NY a lot. Jenny Slate was there, too (she's fucking insane and hilarious). Nick Thune was good. Eric Andre, who I hadn't heard of, was decent. Andy Kindler closed. I don't love him and the crowd didn't either.

Don't really get Aziz, I'll admit. He seems like a nice guy that you really want to like and think he's funny, which is admittedly more than half the battle. But he has no jokes.

I like jokes.

'Course I've never seen Parks and Recreation, so maybe that's it.

Saw Jo Koy the other Saturday. He's always funny. Also the guy opening for him was Nick Guerra. That guy killed it.
