Standing Up-type Comedy

I enjoy all three mostly. I like when Bamford gets really crazy although she makes me cringe sometimes. Oswalt is the most consistently enjoyable for me. Posehn is OK.

I didn't go because I like Leno (activity with my wife's father who watches Leno all the time). It wasn't horrible but not particularly enjoyable. I remember Jay being great at standup when I watched the original Letterman show. I hated him on the TS (have never watched his new shows since the Conan switch). I was hoping that his live standup was much better than what he has been doing on the TS but it was not that much different other than he asked some audience members where they were from and riffed a bit on that. His act made me feel like I was back in the 80s.

He used to have an attitude, although it seems more a product of youth and contrivance every year. His appearances on Letterman back in the 80s were good, but they were still pretty corny. I liked the one where he came out in a leather jacket and brought sandwiches.

Worth the $5. Pretty much what you'd expect from a stand up performance of his. If you're a fan you'll find it hilarious and worth the fiver

Saw Hannibal Burres and Aziz Ansari perform last night. Hannibal went for about a half hour and Aziz was on for almost an hour and a half. Really fun show.

In that AMA he said this one is going to pay for his first house and his next one is going to pay for his next movie, which is awesome

used to love seeing him as a guest back then. But watching a clip of one of those appearances recently, it's pretty clear he had a whole set routine he had prepared and would just reel through it and completely ignore Dave. And Dave would try to get him off his prepared bits and Jay would just get annoyed at him.
