I pretty much exclusively read fiction (books, that is), and have found many so-called classics not enjoyable. Moby Dick is one example; never could finish it. Others that leap to mind are A Tale of Two Cities and Les Miserables. Also The Catcher in the Rye, though that wasn't boring so much as just generally annoying as the protagonist is so unlikable.
On the other hand I've read many others that I've enjoyed tremendously. Robinson Crusoe, Pride and Prejudice, To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, Huckleberry Finn (really anything by Twain), Animal Farm, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest off the top of my head.
I'm of a science background and I work in the field so I thought it was pretty incredible start to finish. A worthwhile read for anyone.Grotewold wrote:Bad Blood gets to be a bit much on the engineering and science, imo, but incredible story
