wow

should it be called a conspiracy "theory" when the "theorist" is, from all available evidence, almost certainly insane

or even when s/he isn't

1st definition my dictionary provides says a theory is "a coherent group of tested general propositions..."
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

From the FB page of a kid I went to high school with...

"Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, American bombers kill 30 at a wedding celebration. Our drone attacks kill thousands of civilians every year but nobody cares because they're expendable in the never ending War on Terror."

an inside job. conspiracy theorists (ptk) will come out of their tin foil covered houses and insinuate the US government was behind this attack

I am waiting for the theorists to point out how Biden referred to it as a "bombing" when he first learned of it via the tv "just turned on" in his office

you may be watching too many tv cop shows

Lord yes, I mean, how long did it take to solve the Atlanta bombing? I'm optimistic given the prevalence of surveillance cameras in the area these days that they'll at least identify someone to look for in the coming days, but unless someone takes credit it really is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

welp, apparently Congressman (small) Peter King has made up HIS mind it's a terrorist attack, and he ain't afraid to say so in his inimitably annoying rapid-fire style

Peter King is the worst. He's probably introducing a bill as we speak to lay the groundwork to invade Iran.

Yes, my cousin is ok--she was some distance from the finish line when the bombing happened. Her husband is ok too, but he was just about at the line when it happened.

I went out Monday night and bumped into some firefighters I know. They said one of the dead was an 8-year-old boy from Dorchester who had gone out to hug his dad after he crossed the finish line. The dad walked on; the boy went back to the sidewalk to join his mom and his little sister. And then the bomb went off. The boy was killed. His sister’s leg was blown off. His mother was badly injured. That’s just one family, one story.

Damn. I'm always surprised by the amount I see there on a normal day. Thank god I took my trip up last Wednesday instead of this week.
