this needs to be a wakeup call. we have fostered a culture of violence and indifference. mental illness is a red herring. countries who don't have guns don't have these mass shootings. i have no faith left in humanity or this county's future. we should all be outraged, and if you can still defend guns today then fuck you, your values are truly twisted and i don't want anything to do with you.
No offense, but I doubt the parents seeing the dead body of their child is going to make them feel any better. I'd rather have the authorities do whatever they have to do properly.
