Sources say only Phillies would receive Seattle prospects for Lee. None would be shipped to Toronto. Kyle Drabek is involved.

OK so if none of the Mariners players are going to Toronto, Lee is seriously a salary dump.

I mean, we wouldn't get the quality of prospects back for him or anything. But I mean really, you could get something for him. At this point I'd take a bag of baseballs, if it meant keeping Lee.

I guess that's right since you don't need any of them to make the deal. I suspec that the prospects we are getting back aren't awful and in that regard mitigate what we gave up to a degree.
