So we're saying Cliff Lee is being traded for Aumont? I don't believe it. More likely Blanton. Blaton's $7MM + $6MM from Jays. Close enough.

That would be just beyond terrible, so terrible that I really doubt it's true. The problem is that Amaro seems obsessed with getting Halladay and may overpay to make it happen. That's what I'm worried about.
I see this trade as pretty useless. The starting pitching market next year is very strong. Even if Halladay decides to go elsewhere, I don't see how we wouldn't end up with one of that top tier.
