Had a good time with all the festivities during the day. We left with about 100 laps left. Guessing most of our section got tickets from the Truex's. Good seats in turn 1. Our attention span finally gave out and we left to grab the shuttle. Neat experience. Think the only way I'd go again is with pit passes at Pocono.

dale jr's last race at tallegada yesterday. he was fortunately one of the i think 11 cars that actually finished the race..

truex wins again. we're down to the final 8

I went last week, so naturally that's the race he crashes and finishes in the 30s. He won the race before and after (SMDH).

Also, Kyle Larson missed the final 8 after an engine failure today. Hard to believe...

People retire in Nascar... I thought they just stopped winning and got replaced... until Gordon retired I didn't know it was a thing... I seem to remember a lot of old drivers when I was a kid growing up near Pocono... maybe it was because I was a kid and everyone seemed old
