We got Cesar back!

Joel Cesar, that is. Nothing special but much better return than I expected.

Sometimes as viciously as Harper swings I wonder how he keeps his balance at all. It has to take a toll on his back even though that wasn't when it happened apparently, or at least flared up.

Hopefully he can take Wheeler Day off tomorrow and then play at least the "who the hell knows is pitching?" game at the end of the DP after Nola.

We need a big week from at least two of Bohm and Bruce and Cutch.

I think we'll make the playoffs, but it would be sad if we didn't make it with 8 teams going. That would be pretty pathetic for a team at the "cap."

I wonder if the emergence of Bohm convinces the Phillies they have enough offense and that they can use the JT money for pitching

Joe says Wheeler on Saturday and Nola on Sunday in Tampa, then they'd pitch games 2 and 3 of the first round on Thursday/Friday. Guess that means Eflin goes game 1 on Wednesday

Is it me or is that not a terrible looking draw for the Phillies? I haven't watched much of the Cubs this year but if we can get past them in a 3 game series we'd get the winner of ATl/STL and we are 5-5 against ATL so got a shot there. Not going to bet the house on it, but it's doesn't seem hopeless.
man I drew all these penises for nothing - housh
