You missed this, which was earlier in *the same inning*: this was a forceout at 2nd
I was flipping thru the channels and I happened to see most of the bottom of the 7th of this game. I saw both of these Ruf plays. There were no errors in either play.

Interesting note I just saw about the World Series: "home field advantage" for 1/2/6/7 in Arlington will go to the higher seed regardless of record, so the #2 34-26 Cubs would have "HFA" over the #3 38-22 Athletics. If the same seed from each league reaches the World Series, then they'll use regular season record for tiebreaker
