Marlins are staying another night in Philly rather than pack onto a plane home before they get the day's test results. They host the Orioles on Monday night and hope to be back a few hours before the game. Those four guys who sat out today are quarantined here until they test negative with no symptoms for 72 hours. This could be the first significant crack in the foundation of the MLB plan...it wouldn't be surprising to see multiple new positives.

At the time they announced, much of the country wasn't out of control with virus. There were no legit bubble options during hot weather. I was hoping daily testing would keep contagious guys off planes and buses, combined with masks and good spacing on those vehicles and in the stadium. This will be a nervous week.

The more positives as well ups the chances that one of these guys gets seriously ill or even dies from Covid-19... then everything is a shambles obviously... read a bit on Freddie Freeman's experience and that was pretty scary and led to Nick Markakis opting out of this season

Marlins charter was apparently cancelled out of PHL today. They are supposed to play Baltimore in Miami tonight. Passan said they could ship an entire taxi squad from Jupiter to Miami to play the game.
