I think baseball will crown a champion this year. Right now, I have serious doubts about the other team sports ability to so.

I have to say the thing with the Cleveland American League Baseball Club that gets me is that the name itself doesn't strike me as a problem: after all, many native people to the United States prefer themselves to be known as American Indians even though the "India" portion of that is a misnomer. In other words, I don't think, given that the misnomer has been sort of integrated into the nomenclature, that there is anything particularly offensive about the name in and of itself.

Their former logo, on the other hand...

Meanwhile, I don't know that the logo of the Washington National Football League Club has a logo that is problematic, at least not the helmet image. It seems plenty dignified enough, not intended to mock or anything.

Of course the name is mind-bogglingly backward...

What if the Clevaland Indians used the Washington NFL logo, or the Washington NFL team became the Washington Indians with their present helmet image?
