Yeah that was a wild night of trying to flip back and forth from what I remember. I think I had the game on for a few innings, then went to the Flyers, then found out around the end of the 1st period that he had a PG into the 7th, if the timeline I have in my mind is correct. From there it was trying to watch both at the same time.

10 years ago today I was having the time of my life in Miami and a Doc made it even better. Best game I will ever see live. I look at that signed ticket every time I go downstairs in the morning.

Correct. We were out at a bar watching what was a crazy game 1 that was high scoring and back and forth. The bar switched over 1 or 2 of say 6 TVs during intermission and folks were like “why”. Then work started circulating as to the “why.”

Was a crazy night because for moments it felt like flyers were gonna be 3 wins and with Home ice Advantage and doc was perfect.

It felt like everything had flipped from the previous 20 years in terms of “this is our Boston moment where all our teams are turning the corner.”

TIL for me, at around 8 minute mark, Kruk's family actually pronounces their name "crook." Wheels mentioned it because apparently the PA announcer in Cincinnati said it that way.

I think it's the more common pronunciation. Have relatives on Mom's side that pronounce it "crook". I always thought it was the dutchiness coming out.

From that same game, Daulton got ejected by Balkin Bob Davidson for arguing a balk call. That guy was seriously terrible.
