so they're going to use this moment to contract the minor leagues, which they wanted to do and faced a lot of resistance around

It's too early to do that yet, but I can see it happening eventually.

Personally, for me the cut-off point is half a season. If they can safely get 81 games in somehow, go for it. Anything less is just not worth it, imo.

A 60-80 game all division season with a shortened playoffs would be fun and probably make MLB gain a lot of fans, but of course only if they can do it safely.

Of course, there will be no fans in attendance for any of it if they do play

i don't like it, UNLESS at that time "instant" testing kits are plentiful and every participant (players, coaches, umpires, broadcasters etc.) are tested daily.

I remember him a little from the 1974 Phillies, and pretty sure I had his card.

I see in his last four appearance with the Phils he pitched 7 innings. 12 hits, 10 walks, 16 runs, 19.29 ERA.

That knocked him out of the League until 1977. Pretty impressive that he came back to pitch five more years with a 103 era+, including a second stint with the Phillies.

That is very decent of him.

And shame on MLB.
