And a 20 yr old 2hander won the TOC last week. A lot of the "purists" hate it, but it's becoming more and more popular among the younger players. The rev rates they get are mind boggling.

More revs, meaning the ball spins more times and creates more energy when it hits the pins.

It's also going to leave a lot of guys in pain in 20 years.

The higher rev rate makes the ball hook(curve) more, creating a stronger entry angle into the pocket, which greatly improves pin carry(more strikes).
