wow @ this match on ESPN

one guy was a strike away from a perfect game while the other was trying to just break 100

I heard everyone who bowls a 300 gets an extra 10,000 dollars. Sucks for that guy.

He made $250,000 for winning the tournament, I think he'll get over it!

i fee like i am talking to a brick wall here. still, anyone else see A League of Ordinary Gentlemen? It's a quality film, plus really delves into the tour. The greatest of all-time, one of the top 5 (son of a legend), and an up and comer who has been player of the year now are all featured. Also, a former great player on his downside.

now, pete weber has changed a little since this was filmed; he's calmed down his antics and stopped doing the crotch chop. still, he's entertaining and still pretty good. walter ray williams is still the king. and barnes now has something like 12 titles

I watched it. As a regional pro bowler, most of what was in it was stuff I already knew. It was hard for me to see what a non-bowler, or at least someone who's not a big bowling fan, could get out of it.

Jurek has always been one of the nicest and classies guys on tour. Don't know if he's ever won the Steve Nagy sportsmanship Award, but he certainly deserves it.

Way to go, pacino! Of course, 800 is much more difficult than 300!

i definitely should've had one, but got tapped at the wrong time on the first, and my thumb completely swelled up and i couldnt get my hand out of the ball on the second (and thus had a 170 game the final game). there was literally nothing i could do to get a clean release. stupid weather

i believe i now have the high average in the house

stripes, anyone: what's a good ball to get coming up for states/nationals? want something that will be controlled but have a good overall hook. i dont know too much out on the market right now since the last ball i bought was the original mission (which is slowly dying on me)

The new Virtual Gravity Nano looks really strong. If you liked your Mission, the Mission $250K is the ball Mika used to win the Tournament of Champions.

weber just advanced to the finals over belmonte. he was acting a fool, though, blaming someone in the crowd for moving. somehow this escaped belmonte.

I would definitely do the Big Ern (Kingpin) if I were losing badly enough.
