Yeah, I mean I haven't seen a ton of San Jose games. Just know what I've seen of him when we've played him. Righty shot, blocks a lot of shots, had a career offensive year a couple years ago, but mostly a Gudas-type guy is what I remember.

Maybe he doesn’t have Gudas’s baggage and knack for suspensions. But at first glance, not thrilled. He’s a plus-21 for his career.

Plus minus is dumb in hockey, but he was a -14 last year with 16 points.

Quick check of HFBoards Sharks section. "Good value for Braun." "2nd and 3rd for one year of Braun, wow." Seems like this is a gamble for a guy who is slipping into mediocrity. Awesome.

I just don't think he is in their plans. I don't understand this latest trade, a true stay at home defensemen is like the opposite of what you want in today's NHL.

Fletcher is the exactly opposite of Howie. This is very frustrating to watch. The Flyers aren't going to contend for a Cup until they have new ownership.

I'd love to know who he was bidding against here that he felt the need to give up two picks for a guy with one year left on his deal. At 32 years old. What's the hope, he plays okay and they re-sign him for 2 years and 3 mil AAV? Meh.

Seems like the Flyers are trying very hard to be knocked out in the first round of the playoffs next season.
