If they go with Gordon next year season tickets will go in the tank

If they don't go with Gordon, what options are there other than Quennville that fans like? Is there an available good young coach who likes to develop young teams rather than play vets? Honest question, I don't know...

The answer to fan excitement is Quenneville, and that's probably the only answer. Dave Tippett has always been pretty respected around the league it seems, gives you a veteran option and a guy with a lot of games under his belt. Flyers connection though.

Some say that Sheldon Keefe, who coaches the Leafs' farm team in the AHL, is a possibility. I don't think that the Flyers will go with another guys who hasn't had experience coaching in the NHL. Kevin Dineen and Todd McClellan are out there.
Whoever it is, it has to be someone who will have patience with the mistakes that young guys make; little need for Keenan type of task master. Also someone who can strategize a good game plan. There are too many stretches when the club seems lost out on the ice- coming out flat in the first period; poor PP; difficulty entering the O zone; still can't beat a forecheck, although last night they seemed to have found a way; a defense that frequently collapses into the goal tender's lap and so forth.

Just stay away from Bylsma

I've read that since Gordon took over they're being dominated in Corsi, scoring chances, and high danger scoring chances practically every game, so the difference is the goalie play. Is that Gordon, our the players leading to the domination? and thank goodness for Hart and a rejuvenated Elliot.

are they doing better in anything other than goalie?

I have it confirmed that the @NHLFlyers will play two games against the @LAKings in Prague, Czech Republic to start the season next year.
