Yeah. I think the Flyers statement kind of sums that up. Maybe Hak is fired since he's not at practice.

Don’t think Hextall gets the credit he deserves for getting us out of cap hell, but he deserves most of the flak. I would have rather they fired coaches first, but if he was an impetus to that then so be it.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

He got us out of cap hell but didn't do much else. When more than half the teams make the playoffs just getting there every once in a while isn't a great accomplishment. He rebuilt the farm system but that is easy too when you aren't winning. He took over a playoff team if I remember correctly.

It really is only good news if they hire from outside. If Homer is pulling the strings again we will end up trading for some vets to go for it this season.
