There is no identity with this team. I even asked a couple of my co-workers who was the "front-man" or owner of the team since Snider passed away, and nobody could even say.

Embrace the suck, call up all the young guys and get them NHL ice time.

Aside from Manning, the defense is getting better. The middle six forwards are not producing. The goal tending is shaky. Neuvirth is playing himself out of the league and Elliot is ok at best.
I'm starting to wonder if a few of the vets are trying to get Hakstol fired. Hakstol is here to grow the young players not cater to them. It might be time to move some of them and bring up more younger players. I'd rather have Lindblom up here than Weiss; Veccione than Lehtera. At least the young guys have a future on which to build. These vets aren't going to get any better.

The thing that is hard to judge with the young defensemen is if they are contributing to the scoring issues or not. They need to get the puck up the ice and advance it to help out the forwards. Also sucks to see Schenn with another good night and 4th in NHL scoring now. Wayne obviously hasn't done much and Jake is so hit or miss.
