surprised i'm one of the few who doesn't want to watch boring, soft hockey for an 8 year period. guess if the people keep buying tickets they'll keep running the same shit product out there though. can't wait for all this speed to materialize.

I think it's fair to say that Schenn alone is not the difference between this team being good and this team being what it is, just as it wasn't him who was the problem with PTO was going on and on about how much he sucked.

I'm in the camp that the Schenn trade was probably not great, but if you're playing the long game, having two first rounders on cheap cost-controlled deals for a few years isn't bad (I know you had to take back Lehtera too, but again, long game, not short game)

The problem I have is that if you're playing the long game, why did you re-sign Voracek to an 8-year deal when he'll likely be a declining player in his mid-30's when you think you're going to be good? Why did you hand Dale Weise a four year deal rather than use that spot to develop young players and sign a short-term stopgap if needed?

It's part of the reason why I was so pro-Sixers. If you're going to rebuild, rebuild. Don't half ass it because if you try to serve both masters, you serve neither.

Well, last Saturday morning they blasted out $20 tickets hours before the game, so that's a start.

These last two games Giroux must have had an incredible pregame speech to lift everyone's play out on the ice.

If there's anything to be said for a 10 game losing streak, we at least got 5 points out it... if we now run off a decent winning streak, we'll be in pretty good shape amazingly
