I think putting Hernandez at 3rd kills his value

Which CFs have a better UZR, UZR/150, or fangraphs defensive rating than odubel? I'll wait

I still have some faith that JPC could turn it around, but at this point I think it's a bit premature to assume he's should usurp Galvis.

I suppose you could add a question mark. There's no reason to hang on to Galvis through next year, other than I guess you need something to stop balls from rolling into left field.

It just should not be this ugly. They are going at history books at this rate. Just blows beyond belief.

When we start trading guys, unless you are getting back top 100 level prospects (which I doubt) the phillies should really prefer High A and below guys IMO. We're going to have 40 man roster issues so I'd rather have a couple of years before a decision has to be made. Would also love additional international slots and competitive balance picks in next years draft.

The real issue with our 40 man roster are those who currently make up that 40 man roster

2 games up on the Giants and 6.5 on the Padres for #1. The Giants will be a lot better once Bumgarner returns so it's the Padres that are the real contenders. Preller is also a sleazy GM and will do his best to tank soon. My guess is we'll get #2 behind the Padres when all is said and done.

There's no Harper or Strasburg but looks better than 2016 at this point.

Absolutely ridiculous. Is that even legal? Honestly, if I were Odubel I would file a grievance against the team and would pretty much be done with Mackanin after that. You fine guys for not hustling or breaking team rules, not making mistakes. Mackanin has lost complete control of the clubhouse and is trying to front like a tough guy now after letting players walk all over him all season. F him. I'd never play another game for Mackanin again of I'm Odubel. Hope he files a grievance.
