The Q. Obviously big/good enough for SDSU, the pro soccer club the bowl game, etc. By allowing the Chargers to leave town, isn't the NFL also crossing off SD as a SB site in the future? That's silly since it is a great convention town.

SDSU is looking to build their own stadium. Not sure where that funding will come from but they know the Q is a dump aswell. They might partner with the new expansion MLS club they are trying to get.
NFL hasn't held a SB in San Diego since 2003, and isn't on the schedule up till 2021. 18 years, I think that speaks for itself on what the NFL thought about San Diego.
Sad part is its now 13 years later and they never really did anything about it.
Las Vegas will take a spot in the SB rotation with AZ and LA as far as West Coast goes
