After the Titans and Browns were told NOPE by the NFL when they wanted to participate in the custom cleat thing next week (since they were off this week), the league changed their mind and said YUP

I think putting the colts and jets on Monday night as the playoff race is heating up was a brilliant move. Who doesn't want to watch this?

CHiP's father passed away Friday night at 87. Instead of a suit (which he wore a lot because lawyer), he requested to be buried in Niners sweatpants instead (and he was)

The New York Giants are the top choice of 44 percent of New Jersey football fans, with 15 percent flying with the Philadelphia Eagles and 8 percent cheering for the New York Jets, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

The Giants are the top choice by wide margins in every area of the state except the South Jersey Philadelphia suburbs, where the Eagles are the first choice of 59 percent of fans, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds.

Statewide, the Jets are virtually tied with the Dallas Cowboys, who are number one for 7 percent of fans.

Not sure of the boundaries but that seems really low. I've run into more Cowboys fans there than Giants or Jets fans

It's pathetic. Half of the time it seems like they make the blatantly stupid decision just so that when they correct their F up that they get some kind of positive press for making correct a dumb decision. This is so trivial and yet they can't even get that right. The league office is a joke and Roger Goodell is the devil. He needs to go back to hell.

When did it become settled among casual fans that Andy Reid is some kind of drooling idiot?

I think that Sports Guy's constant Andy Reid jokes (clock management, timeouts, challenges) had a big effect there. Between that and how the last few Philly years played out, people forget how good he is.
