something about the us open this year eh. three hole aggregate playoff in the women's. nordqvist grounds her club in the fairway bunker on 17 but it's not noticeable. so they go to 18 tied at even. i guess fox brings it up to the usga after seeing the super slow motion replay. nordqvist hits her third shot and the official tells each of them that she has a two stroke penalty now. so lang pulls out a different club and plays it safe while nordqvist didn't have the opportunity to go for the pin.

It broke about a ball to the right a foot short of the cup. Phil said on the way to the tent that he saw the break, just didn't play the putt quite far enough left.

Looked like Nick Faldo willed the lip-out. :)

Phil with some shitty shots here. Stenson playing pretty well, up 1 now.

Looks like it will be either Phil or Henrik tomorrow. Could be fun to watch.

Yeah, I know. That's always the general wisdom in golf. Might be more likely, but Phil and Henrik are both good enough not to both give up strokes, so someone will have to go very low to beat both of them.

This time I'd take those two over the field.

Not when they're this far ahead.

And a pretty nice start for Phil.

Stenson back on top at 4. -13 to -12. Doubt that Stenson collapses--Phil is going to have to win it.
