Lowry putted like a stiff today and he's normally pretty good.
i mean look at this drive on 72 of the us open. borderline erotic.

I'm so happy for Paulina Gretzky-Johnson. Look at the awful life she's had up until now. Now she can stop shopping at Walmart.

Seriously, happy for DJ. He's been through a lot of close losses.

Had a blast at Oakmont yesterday. Been to the last three US Opens and this was probably my favorite. The course was great for spectators. Plenty of chances to see shots close up, unlike Chambers Bay. Felt packed east of the turnpike but once we made our way over the bridge the crowds thinned out and we found good spots to stand right along the ropes. Best spot was probably along the right side of the 18th by the two fairway bunkers. Almost got hit by Jon Rahm's wayward drive.

One of the two main parking lots was closed early because of mud, so there were delays getting on the shuttle buses. And there were lots of muddy areas in general but they handled it pretty well considering the circumstances.
Another day, another box of stolen pens.

I was going to say the same thing, I generally don't agree with Brandel on much of anything, but he was great there.

Damn we should have met up. Got sunburnt pretty bad, but at least I made it on tv at 16.

Gotta bring a three ounce thingy of sunscreen! I did a pretty good job of reapplying every so often but managed to miss my calves so got a bit burnt there.

Billy Hurley probably going to be the story of the season as far as tour winners go.

Firestone is this week. Olympics make the schedule weird but sort of awesome. Open Championship 2 weeks after Firestone. PGA 2 weeks after that.

Lowry out as well. I'd be shocked if Bubba goes and it wouldn't surprise me if Spieth bowed out. Maybe DJ will go for the partying. It's going to end up being a fair amount of nobodies. I think they're all secretly really happy that Zika is an excuse. I have a feeling a lot wouldn't really want to travel to the shitshow in Rio but might begrudgingly do it. Now they have an easy excuse.

Gives water hazard a new meaning. Every great course has a good one though.

I take back what I said about Bubba not going to Rio. Totally forgot about his gigantic ego.

That said he has done some great stuff with his WV flood relief donation and help.
