Lays up on a par five for par, then misses a 10 foot birdie.

Dropped a 24 footer for birdie. On pace for a 58 with two to go. On golf channel now.

Edit - actually on 18. Good drive and a look at birdie for 57.

Just misses. Puts it in for 58.

There's been 1.5 millions PGA Tour rounds, first 58.

I mentioned that Hall of Fame thing and a few said he probably is already in. So this should be a nice decoration to cement him in somewhat. Probably one of the nicest guys in sports(yeah I know people say that about most people haha).

Highlights of Furyk:

Could have been a stroke or two better if the lip-outs lip-in.

Why? He is definitely better than some other bubble options. Keep him out of Four ball and his record is pretty good. He also had a top 10 finish at Hazeltine in 2002 in the PGA Championship.

With the way Fowler is playing, I'd probably take Furyk over him at this point. Lot's of golf to play but I'd prefer Furyk over Fowler, maybe even over Bubba.

Hasn't played a lot lately...had 4/20 rounds in the 60s prior to this 58. Fowler/Bubba are locks so it's not even an argument worth having. If it comes down to the last spot and it's Furyk/Kuchar vs someone like Berger/Chappell/Thomas, it wouldn't really bother me because none of those guys have really stood out. That said, the last spot is determined after the BMW so if someone gets hot then (a la Horschel in 2014) I'd probably rather have him than an old timer. Furyk deserved to make that team (and I assume was automatic qualified) but Stricker certainly did not.

Ryder cup tickets came today. The captains choices are going to be really tough this year.

Missed this. Real jealous.

Guessing he's going to go Fowler, Bubba, Kuchar...and the 4th could really be anyone. I still do not want Furyk at all. Could see him or McGirt. Think Gary Woodland is a dark horse.

Rory going nuts this weekend. He started the tournament +4 through 3 holes and now he's leading it by 2.

Great stuff from the stream to miss Rory's bunker shot.

Casey has to make a tough putt or little chip on 17 or a near impossible eagle on 18. Rough day from him.

In a one and done league with 93 teams. We're sitting in 3rd and were decided between Rose and Reed last week and too Rose, and were deciding between Reed/Rory this week and took Reed. Hopefully finishing with the double hammer of Rory and Spieth the last 2 weeks is enough to bump us into 1st or 2nd. We also made all but 2 cuts to win that year long contest as well.

I like Rory but not terribly happy he's rounding into form right before the Ryder Cup. Slow Mo of his driver swing should come with some sort of parental advisory.
