If this is at all true I really hope Hinkie made fun of them about last year and hung up. End talk

I'd love to see Hinkie's face when he got that phone call, by the way.

Wouldn't do it, unless I've got a separate deal lined up with Thad for a mid round 1st, at which point I'd probably think about it.

I'd not do it period. Fuck Cleveland, Hink's not going to give them all his picks to jump 2 spots.

Sorry if this was mentioned already but:

What time does the draft actually start? Like when does Cleveland go on the clock?

I know it says coverage begins at 7 and draft at 7:30, but does anyone know if they go on the clock at 7:30 or will it be more pre show type of stuff?

Thanks

If the Sixers don't want Embiid because of health concerns, I get it, especially since they've seen his medical records. If they think Parker will be too much of a defensive liability to build around, I get that. If they think that Exum, for all his talent, just has too far to go, I get that, too.

What I don't get is why they (apparently) have Wiggins ranked so far ahead of the others that they're considering giving up so much to get him over one of the others. It's not like he's without his question marks, including questionable analytics. Is the perceived upside difference between Wiggins and Exum so great you'd give up the #10 pick? That's why this whole thing smells fishy to me.

In any event, if there is a trade, I can't see how it will go down before the Bucks pick Parker at 2 to ensure the Cavs get Embiid at 3. So I guess we're going to be on the edge of our seats at least until then.

I'm with you. None of this has sounded right for a long time.

Also, DX currently has San Antonio taking my favorite potential second rounder (Bogdan Bogdanovic) with the 30th pick.

Very good point, but it would still be an overpay IMO.

It smells fishy because it's not the Sixers leaking these rumours. Not to mention none of us have any clue what Hink is thinking, we may think he'd not be that high on Wiggins due to analytics, but we don't know at all.

How do you know the sixers have offered 10?

I wonder if it wouldn't end up being 3, 10 & 32 for 1, Waiters and/or Thompson?

I'd do that. It's nice to draw a line in the sand, but when it comes down to it, if you think Wiggins is a franchise guy, you do it.

3, 10 and 32 is a different story because at that point, you're trading enough assets that you could develop into acquiring a proven superstar. That could be Exum, Saric, and whoever falls to 32. That's a lot to give up for, as much as I love Wiggins, an unproven commodity.

Because my sources say Hinkie offered 10, 32 & Thad and told the Cavs they'll like it.

I think Waiters would be a lot better next to MCW than he is next to Kyrie. At the same time, that still feels like we're overpaying a bit.

I'm a fan of standing pat at three and taking whoever's there.

Not interested in Waiters, but I'd take Bennett.
