I mean, I would have liked to see them run the ball more often as well, but when you are averaging 2.4 ypcarry and 7.7 ypa its kind of hard to argue about the discrepancy.

Yeah saying run the ball more is easy but it isn't going to magically mean they start doing it better.

D was very active, blitz very effective and I think caught them by surprise - lot of guys had their moments. ST was very solid. Vitai battled but was beaten a few times. Kelce was pleasantly p good. Lane was not good. Our new guys were eh. Good win

-Enough with the WR Screen. The fakes don't work either.
-Was glad to see them try to run it out on that last possession before the FG. Love calling the 3 runs in a row. Shame they didn't get that last yard but that's what Blount's here for.
-Wentz's escapablity is super fun to watch especially because he a> keeps looking downfield and b> seems to be able to throw the ball no matter what position his body is in and c> he doesn't seem to do up-for-grabs stuff
-Ertz may catch 100 balls this year
-Still hate running (especially Blount) out of the shotgun
-Props and kudos to the secondary - pretty darn legit even after Darby went out
-Loved the blitzing done this game. Seemed like every time they brought more than 4, good things happened.
-It made us feel better to get that defensive TD, but not sure how they didn't overturn the call
-Speaking of rules - I know it's the correct call on 'defensive holding' but I feel like Cousins was already wrapped up and going down by the time the 'hold' happened. The fact that it's auto first down is a bit annoying too.

Not really worried about Alshon/Smith being out of synch with Wentz today. They didn't play a lot in preseason together gonna take a week or two to get used to each other at full game speed. Bet next time Smith beats the coverage deep Wentz hits him for a big one, and really the 2 pointer at the end is what I'm hoping to see of with Alshon, box guys out in the end zone and make contested catches, I think they get better there quickly.

Don't know how anyone can stand local Eagles coverage

Agreed.

~the front 4 is going to be quite good.

~DBs after Darby were not horrific, but the bad WRs helped cover a lot.

~Smallwood is no Buckhlater

~Hicks is great, the other LBs suck even Myk with his 1-2 good plays a game

~too many penalties

O-line was below average--a lot of guys got beat 1 on 1 and they didn't slide to protection well, letting a lot of open rushers through. And, needless to say, they didn't open many holes, either. They don't have a back who can really take advantage of the holes they do open, either.

Very lucky that call wasn't overturned at the end. Not sure they hold on. It was, however, one of only a couple of the 10 50-50 officiating calls that went their way.
