Which makes him like most (not all) commenters in the thread (including me often.) That doesn't mean ad hominem attacks should be allowed just because people disagree. I don't agree with him on Israeli settlements, but it's certainly a contentious issue and having a voice in opposition to the general board consensus should be encouraged, even if all it does is spark discussion and allow people to spell out the case for an opposing viewpoint.
I shoulda put this in the unpopular opinions thread, I guess.

A person driving in from the burbs with kids is not going to know that, or maybe even be willing to venture that far. I could always find parking in Fairmount when I lived there, now I almost end up paying.
That said, you have to be pretty cheap to give two hours to searching for parking before giving up and going to a garage. though the Franklin Institute one is tiny and the one on Cherry near the Academy I'm sure filled up very quickly as well.
