I've had Brantt on ignore as much as not on BSG, but it's a big missed opportunity to shout him down every time he pops up on the politics thread.

Theres really no missed opportunity bc he wont present facts when pressed on his claims. He comes in and says "lol" to a story thats posted, then disappears when asked what he meant.

I like to eat a handful of Good & Plenty and make it look like I'm popping pills.

Which makes him like most (not all) commenters in the thread (including me often.) That doesn't mean ad hominem attacks should be allowed just because people disagree. I don't agree with him on Israeli settlements, but it's certainly a contentious issue and having a voice in opposition to the general board consensus should be encouraged, even if all it does is spark discussion and allow people to spell out the case for an opposing viewpoint.

I shoulda put this in the unpopular opinions thread, I guess.
