Although, I would travel back and forth to the same city for weeks and weeks and company policy allowed for us to have the hotel do our laundry. So I'd bring my clothes and what not down the first week and the have the hotel hold my luggage and send all of my dirty clothes to be laundered over the weekend and when I'd check back in Monday I'd pickup my bag and clean clothes. Made it a lot easier to just have to haul my laptop/carry on back and forth on the plane. At one point I had a box in storage at the embassy suites in Tampa with my Xbox, some booze, food and all of my toiletries
My new company does shorter trips like fly there on Tuesday and return on Thursday, which is better on the family life impacts since I'm only away for one full day, but it kind of sucks having to do the whole airport shuffle twice in three days.
Embassy Suites is the truth.
Yes, love Embassy suites. The cook to order breakfast, having a little living area with a wet bar/fridge/microwave is clutch. When I was in Dallas a few weeks back, I got there at like 7:55 PM after getting delayed on my flights and getting stuck at the rental car counter and the guy checking me in was like "why don't you head over there to the managers reception before it closes and grab a free drink while I finish getting you checked in" don't mind if I do!
