Random Thoughts, NO-POOP-EDITION

I have this and it works great for what it is.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000F49X ... ref=plSrch

Like jtk said, a real system is crazy expensive and this is not a real system, but it's a reasonable facsimile of one that does have a real milk frother that is not one of those stupid whisks. Buy a tamper to use with it, the included one is worthless. Read the reviews on amazon, they are a lot more detailed than I could ever be. For under $100 can't beat it imo.

Thanks! Looking to replace something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Breville-ESP8XL- ... +cafe+roma

I bought it for her a bunch of years back (maybe 7 or 8? but who knows) and now it's fritzing. she has to bang it (/PiP) on the side sometimes.

Nice, my wife got this one for me and I've used it nearly daily for about a year and a half with no complaints. I've setup a subscribe and save on amazon for this:

Lavazza Caffe Espresso - Medium Ground Coffee, 8-Ounce Cans (Pack of 4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001EQ5ERI/re ... vyb63892Z7

Every few moths and I got a burr grinder to make my own when I want. The lavazza is fine though.

My wife had a Christmas cookie exchange at our house with all the other moms from our daughter's preschool class after their pageant this past Wednesday morning. So she gave me an early Christmas present that morning, Bose noise canceling headphones, so amazing, I hooked them up with the PS4 and now I can completely tune out from life!

this is going to come off as if i am bragging, but i am not!

i have been on airplanes the past three weekends (three roundtrip flights!), i don't know how people who have fly weekly for work do it. i am pretty exhausted.

i know people here do/did for work--- does it make you wanna die?

they do it with pre-check and status to get into lounges and often flying first/business.

yeah, i see that making it better. just the effort of packing and getting to the airport and all that is tiring too. dont get me wrong, had a ton of fun and would do again, but my body needs a break.

Pre-check definitely helps avoid lots of the time/hassle stress

But otherwise yeah, I really hate having to travel more than like twice in one month

If they're shorter trips and I can get by with one suit, and a couple shirts and ties, then I really don't mind at all. Its' when I need to pack a ton and check a bag that it starts to become annoying

get the lead out
Pennsylvania has a dubious distinction. The state contains the most individual census tracts – 1,100 in all – where at least 10 percent of childhood lead tests were elevated over the last decade. In 49 different tracts, from inner city Philadelphia to capital Harrisburg, at least 40 percent of children tested had high lead.

Those figures are disturbing – but not surprising – to health officials in the state.

I don't mind travelling if I can book the flight independent of anyone else, because I usually find some time to explore where I'm going. A little Waffle House or a Cubbies game can make all the difference, but I usually eat like shit, and get tired, and then feel like shit for the next few days.

I used to travel a little in the days BC (before Colin). I didn't mind it at all. Of course, in those days you could show up at the airport at 9:15 for a 9:30 flight.
