Donald Trump risks China rift with Taiwan call - First contact from a US president-elect since diplomatic relations were cut in 1979

My biggest concern about a Trump presidency being nuclear war with China is looking good.

All I could think of while reading that slate analysis is that we don't actually know who voted for Trump/Clinton. The analysis seemed to be conflating turnout and registration numbers with actual votes. Purposely? Sloppily? I don't know.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) lashed out at flag burning on Tuesday after President-elect Donald Trump raised the issue.

“It’s a First Amendment right, but you do it in front of me, I’m going to beat the hell out of you,” Manchin said, according to a Roll Call reporter.

also, if this happens i get the sense giving conservatives/moderates positions in leadership might end:

Just last month, Manchin was named the vice chair of the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

Ooooh. He's really scary.

Rexnord of Indiana is moving to Mexico and rather viciously firing all of its 300 workers. This is happening all over our country. No more!

With Russia on our side we can come out big winners in a global nuclear war.
