She'd still be a better pick than Guiliani.

the result of wars waged:
Eliot A. Cohen, an official in the George W. Bush administration who is now a professor of strategic studies at Johns Hopkins University, said that Mr. Obama’s trips to Walter Reed may have been the reason, and that future presidents should avoid such visits.

“A president has to be psychologically prepared to send people into harm’s way and to get a good night’s sleep,” Mr. Cohen said. “And anything they do that might cripple them that way means they’re not doing their job.”

Mr. Obama has rejected such criticism, saying his rounds at Walter Reed have highlighted the risks of war but have not stopped him from ordering troops into battle when needed.

Trump team says the president-elect has narrowed his search for secretary of state down to 4 people: Giuliani & Romney. Won't name other two

Trump may not be religious, but he certainly has expressed a set of morals and values that he intends to govern with. We'll see how the rest of the body politic reacts when he advocates for unconstitutional policy (and not just in a tweet).

Good post, although I disagree with the second-to-last sentence. I believe that he has expressed a series of ideas, but they are often inconsistent and certainly don't have a unifying theme. I also don't believe that he has the stomach to push for unconstitutional ideas... I believe that he will say something, then backtrack and claim to be a uniter who is being vilified by a hostile press.

I may have overstated here(Trump expressed values and morals while campaigning) in order to compare Trump's campaign to something akin to religious dogma. Trump's dogma is a set of ideas around frustration with the status quo, unfairness in our relations with foreign nations, and a sense that the government is not effective at improving the lives of its citizens. It's like religion, because many supporters don't actually want to argue individual ideas point by point; the individual arguments don't really matter. He's an outsider, and he's going to fight the power. It doesn't matter that you have evidence that the earth is more than 6k years old, and it doesn't matter that Trump was questioning Obama's citizenship as late as 2014, and Trump's unchanging position on the Central Park Five, even with exonerating DNA evidence, does not matter.

Yes, he's inconsistent, and it's because he hasn't thought through many of his positions. He didn't need to do so to get elected. It's quite a cliffhanger, ain't it?

lots of important stuff happening right now. we better see what Trump tweets about them (i'm as guilty as the rest of us).

they agreed to a cut

prices gonna rise in the next couple months

interesting to see what might happen in natural gas in the US

Definitely the detail oriented person needed to come in and turn things around.

Isn't there a Goldman Sachs person who once served in the army who can take this job too?
