the scary thing is that it's always been legal and possible and only held back by the restraint of the person elected.

which is why democrats need to throw all decorum out the window and fight some of these people (sessions) tooth and nail.

Meaningful progress on criminal justice reform is obviously dead on the federal level for the next 4 years. My hope is that efforts on the state level are continued and aren't impeded by the Trump administration.
Do you think April is too early for a Roger Dorn night?

i wonder if they'll threaten states that recently legalized marijuana to not enact it.

FYI, here are numbers to call your senators. Probably more important for Toomey but why not give Casey a ring too.

Casey - (202) 224-6324
Toomey - (202) 224-4254

I think that legal weed and medical weed are both possibly under the gun everywhere. Though I doubt trump himself really cares much.

From an article linked earlier by a former staff worker, it's probably better to call them at their regional office(s).

Racism and xenophobia and everything rotten, that's what (some) Republicans are made of.

He was in Philadelphia this morning helping MANNA and bringing light to the cause they fight for (healthy food for those with deadly illnesses).

That would be a huge undertaking and it would really piss off a lot of people (although the issue may wake people up to the fact that a lot of personal freedoms may be evaporating soon). I think it's realistic though to think it may give pause to states that are considering it though.

Anyway, this could become a contentious states rights issue in general (which republicans usually support)

By the way the people trump is appointing is downright scary. Makes you wonder what America actually stands for
