That's the good/scary part of all of this. Republicans won't have anyone to blame if this doesn't work. There are many scary outcomes as well, but in 4 years there won't be anyone to blame but themselves.

I do, Democrats will at least have hard evidence to use for anyone up for election. Take the drain the swamp and use it against them, point out what new messes have been created, etc.

for whatever reason, ,maybe because now there is no longer a competitiveness of the campaign trail, i had hoped we would see a softer side of Trump as a President. Not that he will become a compassionate being, but the instances where his team will put a muzzle on him will become more frequent

That is my hope too. He could have went after Clinton during his speech, but you could tell he was reading from a scripted speech, so hopefully his handlers will keep him in check.
